Beacon and Greenfingers Charity Together Planting Smiles
As we announced earlier this year, Beacon® Impatiens and PanAmerican Seed are partnering with two charities to shine the light on enriching the lives of those with life-limiting conditions. One of these is a one-of-a-kind partnership with Greenfingers Charity in the UK. We believe that every child deserves a space to grow, dream and feel connected to nature. That’s why we’re proud to support Greenfingers Charity, an organization dedicated to creating magical gardens for children in hospices across the UK. Our sponsorship is more than a donation—it’s a commitment to nurturing joy, healing and hope where it’s needed most.
Earlier in the season, our growing partner Ball Colegrave in the UK, donated a vibrant selection of Beacon® Impatiens to Greenfingers Charity, in hopes of brightening the gardens of children’s hospices across the region. These green spaces offer comfort and joy to children and families during challenging times—and we’re honored to play a small part in making them bloom.
The Helen & Douglas House in Oxford, UK, told us: “How fantastic the Beacons look in the garden—they've added a very welcome burst of color, when some of our other plants have struggled in the heat!”
Keech Hospice said: “This is a thoughtful gift that will contribute towards the continued care and support that Keech Hospice provides for all our patients and their families at some of the most challenging times of their lives. Without this type of generosity, we wouldn’t be able to provide the services that are so greatly needed, and most importantly, to ensure our patients final moments are special ones.”
