Beacon Impatiens Donates to 'Roots for Youth' as 2026 Charity
As the growing season begins to wind down, we have some very happy news! We’re excited to announce that we’ve been able to help another lesser-known charitable organization, Roots for Youth. Beacon Impatiens is in its seventh year of charitable giving, and it is thanks in part to our amazing community. Whether you bought Beacon Impatiens, donated or helped spread the word on this year’s charity – you made a difference to someone in need.
Roots for Youth was chosen as our 2026 charity, which provides bursaries (scholarships) to young students. An organization in Ontario, Canada, it provides these scholarships to teens and young adults who have endured family tragedies or hardships. Roots for Youth has been the primary charitable focus of the Bradford Greenhouses Family Trust since 2018, providing aid for 14 young students and paying 100% of their tuition to achieve their dreams of post-secondary education.
This donation was the result of seed sales of the company’s Beacon Impatiens series, monetary support through promotional T-shirt sales and additional fundraising by the team. At the Bradford Greenhouses golf tournament, the team delivered its donation check to benefit the Roots for Youth organization.
