Beacon Spring Planting at Spectrios

As part of our continuing effort to bring awareness to this year’s charitable organization, Beacon recently visited Spectrios Institute for Low Vision for a wonderful day of gardening. We had the privilege of adding some beauty and color to their gardens with Beacon® Impatiens.

A group of team members from PanAmerican Seed took a trip to Wheaton, Illinois, in early June with plenty of blooms to plant in the shade. Perla Marbella, Lisa Speranske, Janessa Bender and I showed off our green thumbs and planted Beacon Impatiens around the Spectrios campus.

Remember to continue to shine the light on Macular degeneration and low vision issues by planting Beacon Impatiens in your own space this gardening season. By doing so, a portion of global seed sales of Beacon will be donated to Spectrios Institute for Low Vision in the U.S., and The Macular Society in the UK.
